I Am Yours

Tamara Rittershaus is the author of Marie’s Big Adieu and Lockdown Drill at Superhero School. She is a freelance editor specializing in picture books and poetry, an expat mom, and a Montessori kindergarten teacher. She enjoys biking and gardening with her multilingual family in Magdeburg, Germany.

Rafaela Villela is a children’s book illustrator based in Brazil. She got her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Belas Artes University in São Paulo. Soon after starting her career as a graphic designer, she fell in love with books and illustrations and hasn’t looked back. Rafaela’s love for children’s books has a special place in her heart. Making children laugh and fall in love with color and art through stories has been a mission of hers for a long time. She tries to introduce humor and quirky characters in most of her work. When Rafaela is not working you can find her with her fiancé and their two grumpy cats, drinking coffee and watching cartoons.
