This picture book treasure features a cast of adorable bunnies. The artwork and story are reminiscent of picture book classics by Margaret Wise Brown and Richard Scarry.
When Tickles the bunny’s family goes on an adventure without her, Tickles reads her book, How to Be a Bigger Bunny, and then winds up on an adventure of her own. When she finds her furry family in trouble, she must become a bigger bunny and save the day. Perfect for Easter time and springtime as well as year-round reading aloud and sharing.
From Florence and Wendell Minor, the husband-and-wife team behind If You Were a Penguin, If You Were a Panda Bear, and Christmas Tree!

What reviewers said
“The soft visual texture is appealing and well befits the gentle narrative with its encouraging message to ‘never give up.’ A happy ending for a little bunny whose reading helps her to do big things.”
“The motivational messages come in handy when Tickles discovers her siblings have become trapped in a hollow log. Wendell Minor creates a bucolic countryside home for the rabbits in sun-washed scenes of fields bursting with flowers, and a series of dream sequences offer visual evidence of Tickles’s growing confidence.”
PRAISE FOR IF YOU WERE A PANDA: “A global array of bears parade by in this delightful story for the very young. A lovely title to engage the imaginations and interest of budding animal enthusiasts.”
PRAISE FOR IF YOU WERE A PENGUIN: “Wendell’s vibrant large-scale figures, set against bracing polar landscapes, have enough personality to captivate a crowd.”
“A playful and lightly informative look at the life of penguins...an excellent storytime addition.”
